I think you need a guy on the mirror swivel too if the idea is to hit a moving target. The lens should probably be fixed to the mirror but with fwd/back focus ability.
Sadly, while The Hunter was trying to hit Tarzan, he set off a giant forest fire which consumed his home. To add insult to injury, his insurance company would not cover the loss as he forgot to purchase the rider that covers “accidents caused by giant mirrors and magnifying glasses”.
