She looks like a 1930’s Ziegfeld Follies girl with those feathers. And why only one big hoop earring? Yeah, this Queen is kind of disappointing as far as Tarzan strip queens go.

Just sitting in a room all by her lonesome, on her throne , waiting for someone to open the door.

About time we meet the Queen. Kind of a let down. Not a blond and the coconuts are kind of small. Maybe she has a sister?

Tawi, that’s her stripper-stage name. Her real name is Mildred.

Tarzan smiled “reassuringly”, did he? ERB loved those adverbs. It looks more to me like “Tarzan sneered, lustily.” Also, where is he going with that hand in the second panel? And what is it with these queens? They get stuck in a room, all alone, on a throne, and nobody’s out there even casting lots for who is tonight’s lucky pygmy. Anyway, I’m hooked. I gotta know.

This Queen Tawi strikes me as a beautiful deadly viper, Tarzan had best keep his distance…………SSssssssssss……..watch out!
