He seems vulnerable to the jewel’s hypnotic power like everyone else. In the book he was immune because of his ape-like mind

Talk about a lack of Spidey Sense.

Artist got tired of drawing large net and settled for medium.

Oh c’mon the old falling net gag ? That was Abbott and Costello stuff.
