I suppose there are no rules in these Ape-man vs Ape battles and wonder if June Laver would have “dominated” Akut in less time with a firm scissors hold, crushing him between her legs. Picture THAT!

So, this is at least a real Tarzan comic today. And … without a kill. Still only 13 after today.

Akut probably didn’t think Tarzan was holding back on the knife they way he is holding it.

What? Tarzan didn’t kill another animal? Am I dreaming? They stopped publishing Tarzan and I’m hallucinating already?

Withholding the knife apparently didn’t involve not holding it, which meant he subdued the angry fellow with one hand.

Yeah, after all, the ape wasn’t a cat. THOSE can be killed needlessly.

Whew! No blood today. The PC police can take the rest of the day off.

Akut is an ape (friend) prominently featured in both The Beasts of Tarzan and The Son of Tarzan. Not sure if this is supposed to be the same guy.

Have no fear Tarzan will be slaughtering some more innocent creatures in the week to come.
