Darn, always at breakfast…..

“Time passed and Tarzan and Numa became inseparable companions.” Careful Numa. That’s what they said about Tarzan and Oomtag.

“Sorry Akut, I’m with Numa now… it’s not you it’s me…meow!”

Tarzan whispered, now, don’t bring up politics.

So the last episode will be a reconciliation of animals.

The first two panels are heartwarming but, knowing Tarzan’s nature, I’d advise Numa not to turn his back on his new drinking buddy.

Tarzan will have to do yet another Dr. Phil “intervention” to calm these long-time enemies down.

Tarzan teaming up with a big cat? Now I’ve seen everything.

I’ve contacted gocomics about their plans for Tarzan, if I get a reply, I’ll post it up here…..

They’re hereditary enemies? Lions don’t particularly prey on apes or vice versa, and they don’t compete for food or territory.

That was in one of the novels. I forget which. I read them 55 years ago. I tried rereading the Return of Tarzan but there was stuff in it I didn’t want to deal with. I think a comment of mine was removed, here, when i said what that was before. Let’s just say ERB was a man of his times. Anyway, I really LIKE this sequence where he and the lion are pals. Much better than him stabbing big cats to death.
