David Innes and the mole. Sounds familiar……..

I thought we left Innes and the Inner World behind. Tarzan should have let the cat have him.

Oh no. Not down there again!

And… we’re back to Pellucidar. Though Innes’s hair looks less creep-y.

Wait! This should have happened before Tarzan’s previous adventure. I assume these stories are being published out of order.

Now we’ll get a more ERB original story about the land down under. Er, not Australia.

I miss the clarity of previous illustrator!

Burne Hogarth was one of original and better of all the “Tarzan” illustrators along woith Hal Foster, Bob Lubbers, Joe Kubert, etc.
