In our backyard we used to have a clothesline and the dog leash was attached to the clothesline so the dog could run around. My sister’s English Springer Spaniel was over at the house one day and on the leash, and saw something next door. She ran towards it, leapt, and was earning her breed’s name by being on track to clear the four foot fence when the leash and clothesline reached their maximum stretch and snapped her back, and for a brief moment she looked exactly like Numa did in that first panel. She was fine, but seemed a bit confused at what happened.
Dang. And here I thought we were going to pause for a brief plot intermission for our regularly scheduled lion killing. There I go thinking again. You dodged a bullet, er, knife there, Toldo, you lucky puddy tat.
Here we go again, horney Queen Merala now addresses him as “MY Tarzan…..”. Now who’s gonna make a move on the treasure of Kohr? And why did she take “Dr.” Wong along on this visit? Toldo looks as though he’d enjoy some Chinese food, eh?

Like the dog in the old bugs bunny cartoons who always runs to the end of his leash chasing Foghorn. Copycat Tarzan artist!
