Being a lion in a Tarzan story is similar to having wardrobe issue you a red shirt for a walk-on role in the Star Trek original series

Suddenly, the lion stops in its tracks, it can feel the earth move, the quake of a thousand elephants, led by Tantor, heading this way. Holding my breath.

I’m sure the lion would prefer a nice big bowl of Meow Mix. Cats ask for it by name.

I never did like the ending of this book.

Where is the Crocodile riding Frogman Army and Tantor Brigade led by Volthar? Will they arrive in time to save Tarzanacus and put this evil horny Nemone down??

Why doesn’t Belthar attack the handlers?

Tarzan picks up Belthar, turns, and throws the lion like a javelin straight into Nemone’s chariot. Or is that too pulpy?
