Dean does this to me occasionally but he always comes straight back in though we usually have to “chase” around the car a few times first, outside is scary
’Mantha did this – once – with the same reaction. As soon as she realized that what was on the other side of the door was outside, she wanted right back in and never went out (of her own volition) again.

I once adopted a cat that lived on the streets.
You could leave the door wide open.
She would NOT go out- – -ever again.
She knew that she “had a good thing going”
Food, clean water, treats, soft blankets, and pets- – -she was in HER idea of Heaven.
AND SHE WASN’T LEAVING!
