We had a much-needed rain yesterday. I set my cat up with a camp chair outside the front door and under the eaves, so she could enjoy the rainy day view while grooming. However, half an hour later it turned into a torrential downpour which even overflowed the rain chain “bells” at every level. She decided it was too noisy and came inside.
I’m glad someone has noticed that meditation as she is practiced in today’s mental health system is basically blanking your mind. Ever since I got bored by the teacher explaining things two or three times when I was in grade school I’ve learned to blank my mind. Sadly it’s not all it’s cracked up to be in the anxiety/depression area. It’s more like taking recreational drugs.
Pippin was afraid of the rain. Every time he heard it hit the windows he’d walk around nervously looking over his shoulder and crouching. I had to pick him up several times and reassure him everything was okay. Silly boy. XD

Send some rain this way, please. We haven’t had a decent rainfall since early September and are in what is considered moderate drought conditions.

We had some rain last week but we are still behind. We both love it when it rains.
