It’s another month, Fargo. The flowers will be out soon.

It’s just another day. Lay in the sun, beg for treats, take a nap with Pippin. Just don’t tell him that Mayday comes from m’aidez.

To be honest, I don’t really know what it means, either.

When I was in grade school back when the dinosaurs were in diapers, May Day was a big deal. We would weave construction paper baskets and fill them with construction paper flowers to make May baskets to give to our mothers. My school didn’t have the proper type of pole to dance around while weaving ribbons.

It is also known as Beltane. It’s one of the Wiccan holy days and a time for a sabbat, and it’s a fun one.

Monroe would probably think a maypole is a cat toy. Well, he thinks everything is a cat toy.
