Hello, everyone. I can’t believe I"m first.

This is Daisy, one of the 3 legged kittys I fostered. She got a home with the daughter and husband of someone I know. They just adore her.

Your cats are beautiful, Queen of America and I have really enjoyed reading about your rescue kittens.

This is Frosty, the other 3 legged kitty I fostered for a bit. He now lives up in the northwest with his new family who are spoiling him rotten.

QueenofAmerica, I’m surprised no one said anything. That cute first cat you posted appears to have a Hitler moustache! :-)

Dry: Daisy did have a kind of Hitler thing going but not as much as some I have seen. I have a friend who had a cat, also Daisy, who had THE best Hitler mustache ever! At the same time, I had Spuds, who had a Maynard G Krebs goatee. We loved them both so much. I lost Spuds in 2005 at age 18 and Kay lost her Daisy about 2007, around the same age.

I understand that not everyone can foster for a lot of different reasons. I’m very lucky in that I have a big room for the babies that I can just vacuum and hose down when they get too messy. My husband is nearly as bad as I am. And, if I have fosters and for some reason cannot attend to them, he takes over, no questions asked. He fetches, he cleans, he feeds…whatever it takes. I think I have a picture of him holding these babies. Will try to post it.

Moose went in to see the babies (and eat their food) but after a while he has had enough. He sits at the door, looks at me and meows – LET ME OUT!!!

Today was strip the room and clean and disinfect the floors, litter pans, shower walls, floor and doors. We put the babies in a carrier in the bedroom and you would have thought they were being tortured! Moose had to go in and see what the belly aching was all about. When we finished and I put them back, I informed them that I did not want to see poop flung out of the boxes any more. As I closed the door, I think I heard them laughing at me.

OMG! SO MANY GREAT COMMENTS HERE! I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN, SO I WILL MISS SOMEONE, I AM SURE, NOT INTENDED!

Serena, I know. I admire those who do, and when we went for one kitten, we ended up with two at ROFF. If I had my way, I would have all the dogs and cats. I WOULD BE THE CRAZY LADY for sure!

Happy, so SWEETHEART is sticking her tongue out at you for all those pics you take?? She can’t be sticking it out at me! I mean after all, SHE IS GORGEOUS!

Wet, I broke my wrist once, my right hand, sure was a pain in my butt, and when the cast came off, my wrist was WAY smaller. I feel your pain!
