I found out yesterday that my good friend who had cancer (for whom I had asked your prayers and good thoughts) died over the Labour Day weekend. I knew she was weakening quickly, but she was hoping to last until Christmas. After multiple phone and chat messages, her younger son finally called with the news. RIP, Dee.
Also went to the doctor yesterday, I have something called femur-patella syndrome in my left knee. I’ve been hobbling with Paul’s cane for a few days and it looks like I’ll need it until the anti-inflammatories do their job. Good thing we have a small apartment.
A bountiful weekend to all. -————————More Cats Than Sense: Thanks for the beautiful start to Caturday.-————————@miscreant1: Praying for a successful fundraiser.-————————@LadyKat: I’m sorry for your loss and her family. You are all in my prayers.-————————Be well my friends.
This is how I feel today. The 60th Roosevelt (Portland Ore.) High School Reunion went very well yesterday, Husband and I got to the Hotel at 12 to decorate, and (as old people do) most got there waaay ahead of the 2pm start. We were all finished by 7! I got home and sat down and immediately my legs cramped up, I guess standing around in high heels for 8 hours at my age is a no-no! LOL,. Tylenol and a heating pad worked, so did my falling in bed at 10:30.
BevI just went up and measured my heels, 3 1/2 " No wonder! What the Heck was I thinking? they did look sexy tho, doesn’t that count? And they were comfortable, didn’t pinch or anything. Good thing we don’t go out much. Haha
@LROS: I no longer wear heels higher than 1/2 inch. Must hand it to you for wearing those 3.5 inchers for 8 hours. OUCH!!!! At least you enjoyed the reunion, looked sexy AND got a great night’s sleep!
Well we are late again,,,,,,,,,,,I hope this isn’t going to be the new norm. I can’t stay up that late and late is when I do my my best work!Well I guess i’ll go to bed…what time does this turn over now anyway. And by the time I get here in the morning all the East Coasters have gone.

I haven’t worn heels since my 20s. My “dress up” shoes are 1/2 inch Mary Janes, and usually with socks!
