After i went to bed last night i recived two more donations for a total of $595.00 .Not a bad birthday at all.Thank you, one and all.Yesterday was fun.

The rummage sale was a success. Final total was $1038. Considering we had no high priced items this time and nearly everything was $5 and under, that’s a pretty decent amount.I spent about $20 on myself and another $12 for a for a friend.

Just got back in from helping the landlady and her daughter catch a kitty that had gotten under their deck. It is not feral, but does not have a collar. It was starving so Buster donated a can of cat food, Precious donated her carrier to transport in a couple of days (have posted notice and hope to reunite with owner) and I donated the cat litter that my cat sitter got while I was in the hospital and neither the kids nor I care for.Landlady said she would wait a couple of days to see if anyone responds before taking to a non-kill shelter. It is a sweetheart, not real nervous, just hungry.Keep fingers crossed that it and it’s owner can be reunited.

Chesney always was the problem child! Someone told me that the ones that give you the most heartache are also the ones who can give the most blessing. What are we gonna do with that boy??

there is a TV program here in the US called “Scared Straight” I wonder if our Chesney would be a candidate? Hm. Annie might just be ready for tough love on Himself. Do we really want him to change too much?
