This just in to the Newsroom, People all over Vancouver are holding their breath, When asked why this man said “Mrrph Mumph”Authorities are checking out a tip about an abandoned warehouse and a white cat.
Which poor kitty has Lily tormented today?I don’t care about anyone’s politics as long as they love cats. Laughing out loud this morning at a site a friend sent me – Cats afraid of Cucumbers – easy to find on YouTube.
I guess Lily really does rule everything. I don’t want to see an exploded kitty. Beviek – love the little kitty chasing the light. Too funny! Rose – Excellent holding your breath pictures to go with this comic. I’m with the little birdie – what happens when they all exhale at once. There was a big wind all over the world. More Cats Than Sense – love the little kitties all wrapped up. As far as the other issue, just flag it and ignore it.
I used to have a cat that had asthma. The first time she had an attack it scared me to death. She lived to be 18 years old and we always got though it. I think I was always afraid she was allergic to me.
Boy those are some fluffy bunnies posted today :-) Great pics of breath holding Last Rose. I had an encounter with a Puffer fish snorkeling in Hawai’i once, wasn’t inflated like that though
We’re supposed to be getting a big wind here tomorrow – and not from the kitties all exhaling at once. It’s storm Barney. The UK Met Office has decided to put names on all winter storms this year. At the rate they’re going, it won’t be long until they get to M, which is Mary!
I called Linda about bringing those 2 kittens home. She said a lady adopted a tabby kitten and wants one of the 2 remaing ones so I have to leave them at the shelter until she decides which one she wants. I will check tomorrow afternoon to see if she made a choice yet.
MCTS, Did I miss something? I see no troll, unless they removed their comment. Or are you just “venting”, don’t blame you if you are. There are a few around these comics here and there.
We have the Cat Attract litter that we use for him. I’ve actually found that the trick with him seems to be more the LOCATION of the box, rather than the kind of litter, so I’ve had my husband move the litter box back into the living room, inside a kennel, so his brother can’t use it/trouble it. He has reported that as soon as he did that, and let Dabdoob into the kennel to use it, he used the litter box no problem for pee’ing. Still need to work back up to poo’ing in the litter, though. He poo’s on the puppy pee pads we line the kennel with right now. When he was all coned-up and needed to have his activity level controlled, we had moved his litter into a spare room with nothing in it too “vigorous” for him to jump on. While he was still drugged up, he was ok with using the litter in there, but once he was off the meds, then he stopped wanting to use the litter there. That’s why I suggested to my hubby that we probably need to go back to the last place we had success with him – the living room. Eventually my hope is to gradually move the litter box out of the living room into another room that actually has a door (either the room we use as an office, or the “kitchen” in the basement), so we can incorporate a special pet flap door that will only open for his microchip, so only he has access to that litter – he seems to be bothered by his brother using his litter, too, and doesn’t want to use any litter that he has used. I spend WAY too much time analyzing my cats’ behaviors – lol. Seems to be a side effect of being super-detail-oriented and a data analyst by trade. Sadly, work is another huge stressor for my life right now, the team I currently work on is extremely short-handed, so I’m trying to manage 3 different clients, implementing them onto our system or closing out their project, with only 1 programmer at my disposal, who is also getting pulled to work on another client, all with the same end date – January 1. Trust me when I say this is monumental task. That coupled with trying to take on a new position in my company – theoretically I am 75% old position and 25% new position for November and December, then 100% new position starting January. What that actually works out to in actuality is 150% old position, 75% new. All while trying to deal with my cat, MIL (I am her POA for financial and medical), and my dad’s recovery. whew. I hope I survive to January. My husband is a wonderful man, but anything more stressful than cooking, eating, sleeping, and going to his own job every day is too overwhelming for him to handle. He’s being super-good with Dabdoob right now, so I am very happy with that. Daily phone calls to talk him through all the daily crises seems to be helping – took me 45 minutes yesterday to talk him back from the edge about a phone issue for his mom in her new room (what to do because it stops ringing before she can get to the phone next to her bed if she’s sitting in her chair – solution: have his siblings calling from abroad call back right away so she has a 2nd chance to be near the phone when it rings, or she can redial the local siblings, and when I get back, we can go shopping for another phone set that has a corded and cordless handset – one for next to her bed, one for next to her chair) and Dabdoob’s reluctance to use the litter in the room we had set up for him – solution: re-set up the litter in the living room. It all just makes me want to laugh most days. It’s why even though I might not be able to read the comics every day, let alone comment, I look forward to my Ten Cats fix, both the wonderful comic Mr. Harrop treats us to, and the comments/pictures everyone else adds. I love reading all the stories, “hearing” about all the trials and tribulations people are going through and then the (hopefully) happy updates they provide, and all the amazing/funny pictures.
