Good morning, everyone. We will be getting out of the deep freeze today, with a high of -3C (26F?). Yum Yum has been chattering at me since we got up this morning, apparently it hurts her little ears when I breathe. I keep apologizing for disturbing her.

We have bats flying around every spring. We go outside at dusk and watch them. We don’t know where they live or hang out around here, though. Brad said there are caves about 15 miles away. We don’t know why they fly over to this area.

We put up a bat house but it’s never been used. Then we read an article that said as long as there are natural places for them to roost available, they won’t use the house.

The kitty who sampled Annie’s valentine may be Mr. Hollingsworth. Oliver usually stammers and is a bit smaller. It was another two cat night last night. According to the forecasts, we’re going to get just about every kind of weather in the next 24 hours.

Noreen, I am also learning how to use HTML without knowing the language or the logic of it. Eldo, Alexi, Susan and others have been very patient teachers, and Eldo especially has taken the time to get my misformulated postings up for view.

@Beviak. Watched the big tiger/white kitty rearing up for a pat and that is almost like my beloved, late, great Kristen. Thank you so much. When she ‘launched’ herself onto anyone’s lap they had to be warned…she was a big girl.

My total monthly sales at the antique mall so far is $59.50.That pays for next month. And then some.Also, the boss is still insisting that she pays half of the rent.So, this might be a (small) profitable venture after all.

The problem (problem?) with all the posts and photos on this strip is that i rarely get to read everything. I have a hard enough time finishing all the comics in my queue on a regular work day.Reading all the comments on all my favorites is just imposable.: (
