I don’t know if Beth’s daughter will remember to post. Beth said on Facebook that she is going in for knee replacements, so we may not see her around for a while.
Had a line on a wheelchair van yesterday.Unfortunately, i only had half the money needed to buy it.Still, you don’t run into minivan conversions with 117,000 miles for only $10,000.00.(sigh)
It’s Tuesday, there’s six more weeks of summer left. Temperatures in the upper 80’s to low 90’s. Makes sense then that all local pools are closed for the season, teachers are back to work and students start school Thursday. Boy, am I glad I’m retired from teaching.
In Michigan, there is a law that school can’t start before Labor Day, so the y all start the Tuesday after. Of course, all sports start their practices (unoffically) the first week of August, but officially two weeks before school starts, I think is the rule.
“If the grade school had bought me a hot lunch” Our cafeteria smelled bad like sour milk and vomit. K-6th I went home for lunch. Now they’ve closed the campus & no one can go home :( public schools here are the absolute Pits. I’d home school a kid before I’d send one to our schools.
My grammar school used government surplus food. This was in the 40s. All I remember is waiting in line forever only to find Tamale Pie. Again.Lankersham Avenue in North Hollywood CA.
@Gweedo: Hannah looks pretty good shaven. I don’t think Chris would. Christopher would have to be knocked out by the vet or ‘all hell would break loose’. Anyway, good news to report as all the mats have finally been removed and Christopher is SO happy…he is ‘throwing’ himself against our legs quite a bit, demanding belly rubs and brushing as well as jumping on laps and sticking his face in our faces.
‘More than three decades have passed since Mr Humphries last trilled ‘I’m free’ and Mrs Slocombe talked about her p—-y.’ Yes, all of you ARE YOU BEING SERVED fans….it will return as a ‘one off’ later this year. Let’s hope that either our PBS channels or the BBCA will air it. Like bbear, I do not want to be banished from GC so you will have to fill in the missing letters. TRUE AYBS fans will have NO trouble doing so!Thank you, H X 3 for liking this on fb!!!!
Cross your fingers and think good thoughts my way, please.I actually have an outside chance for that van!I got a call (text) back and he said that he will keep me in mind if he doesn’t get any better offers.
More like"Yee haw" in my house when bugs appear. Sammy and Dean don’t stop until they catch whatever is flying or creeping about then it’s crunchy munchies ☺
Beth sends her love to all of the Ten Cats gang. She wanted me to post her phone number. 731)541-0471Don’t forget, she is in Eastern Daylight Time. She has nerve blocks in both legs so there was no walking today, but understands that is on the agenda for tomorrow. I will repost in the morning just incase this is missed. Sent her good thoughts and hugs.

Hey, that’s not right! Cats LOVE bugs! Mine always love to watch them move around and one or two have eaten them.
