Well, the great northwest windstorm grazed us, went out like a lamb. We all had our candles and camp stoves ready, prepared to hunker down. I thought I would have the computer unplugged at this time. But nothing. I am quite happy with that. Anyway, it is early in the season for windstorms, plenty more chances.

Had a really productive day yesterday. Made a big batch of spaghetti sauce, another of chili, and some cranberry orange bread.

I am not seeing any new posts on the FB page, I wonder why? I have “liked” the page but it doesn’t show up…

I thank all of you for your comments and wishes Saturday. I do wear a brace on my left hand, which is the one to be operated on. Sadly, Both wrists have carpal tunnel. It wasn’t my idea to do both knees at once, but I am putting my trust in my doctor.

Yes, Dennis and I dodged a bullet! I kept waiting for some of the big trees behind up to fall, thus improving our view of Portland lights/ river, but alas. We only get a peel-a-boo at night.

I at least have a big pot of stew for leftovers, and I guess we will put the camp stove back in the basement. The markets were crazy on Friday, now a lot of people are left with a lot of food. lol
