Oh, that look on dear little Annie’s face! We are back from the flower filled desert – thousands of flowers everywhere! Baby tortoise in the driveway, but only a few lizards and one snake – Patch Nosed racer, a new one for me. Silly snake, I was holding it and it reached around to bite my hand and bit itself instead! Non venomous and a small mouth, it would not have hurt. Came home to our beautiful peach and crabapple trees in full bloom!

Kitten number two got spoken for last night. Very nice family with two boys. One looked about 9 or 10 and the other was maybe 12 or 13. I don’t have any experience with boys (yeah. yeah – I can hear what you are all thinking :) ) so it’s hard to tell. But, they LOVED the babies. They were so gentle with them. The kittens were little purr machines while being held and loved. The younger son sat on the floor and played with the one they chose. He couldn’t keep a smile off his face. The parents were calm, friendly and just very nice. Even though the boys wanted to take the baby home then, they understood that it has to get spayed first and didn’t whine or make any fuss about it. The kitten will have a great forever home with this family.

Wondering if Comments is working right. I often get a few replies or Likes, but none lately. The last few days, no Notifications. Can anyone see this :>
