Lovely bandage, Doc! It’s the woodpeckers that wake us up. They could make a nice rat-a-tat on Chesney’s empty head!

I’ve got somebody, I think they are Robins and they have built a nest in the Hinoke Cypress under the bedroom window.

I guess I will be serenaded the rest of the summer. 5AM, maybe I’ll buy them an alarm clock for a housewarming present!

The birds don’t wake us up, but there’s a certain little Siamese girl who likes to yowl in my ear to tell me “it’s time to get up and give me treats, Mommy!”

Yup,should have sent Lily in on this one…I dare say feathers would have flown! Ps. whilst you have the bandages out,may as well cover his mouth!

Today’s strip is very funny with the clever dialogue between Ches and the bird!!! Thank you Graham!! We are awaiting the return of the Western Kingbirds who nest in a large fruitless mulberry in our yard and awaken us before 4 am with their special early morning chatter/song. Fine with me, I need to get out in the garden at dawn to beat the heat. While we were in the desert last week, the mockingbirds sang nearly all night long.

I’ve known cats that have stripped entire neighborhoods of entire populations of birds. I’m not saying that’s a good thing, specially since the cat in question had been declawed, but Chesney surely has lost his cat license over this incident.

Hi everyone. Zippycats is having trouble seeing her comments and likes on Ten Cats. She has contacted GC to see if she has been banned for some reason, but hasn’t heard back. She was referred to another moderator. She enjoys BBears posts and photos. Any ideas? I have never seen anything untoward by anyone on Ten Cats as I have on other comics.
