We have a cute, adorable baby bunny visiting our Walmart garden center. Well, I think he or she is cute and adorable, but I doubt if the Bonnie plant people will agree when they see what this little nipper has done to their parsley and kale! I don’t know this baby’s gender, but I’ve named our bunny Chomper because he or she has really chomped a lot of plants! Chomper was a little timid at first, but on Tuesday, he/she hopped up close top me and didn’t run at all, so I was able to snap several pictures. The first pictures were not great. They showed Chomper hiding under our plant tables. But later, Chomper came back for dinner and I was able to get much better pictures. So here is Chomper chomping on the parsley. Then I have a couple pictures showing the damage to the parsley and kale. Chomp away, Chomper! I love your visits!

I can’t keep all these cats’ names straight, but I don’t care. I can never keep a straight face and that is what counts. Ten Cats is awesome!

Just right next door to reality . .

2 campgrounds and an historic collection of old cabins all evacuated yesterday due to a wildland fire just north of town. No lightning or power lines in the area but plenty of dispersed campers and freezing temps overnight with high winds. Not hard to figure out what started it. ALL campfires must be banned in our drought stricken western areas, with HUGE fines to match. HUGE fines, not the slap on the wrist ones we now have.

I remember this one.

It caught me by surprise and i got a good belly laugh out fit.

I called to have a new air conditioner installed to replace my totally dead one. They said they are swamped and cannot get to me until May 31. It’ supposed to be 90 again today. Oh, my. I am not a person who likes hot weather at all. Hot weather with no air conditioning, even worse.

BTW, yesterday i saw a harbor seal and her pup in the harbor. First of the year for me.

I’m still waiting on the whales to show up.

I suppose next Mrs. Gowdy will be screaming “Help Me!” (I’ve never actually seen The Fly, but I’ve seen it parodied in numerous shows, including a Halloween episode of The Simpsons.) On another note, saw seven robins and a wren while out walking today.
