NATIONAL HANDWRITING DAY. I will be using my handwriting to write a couple checks to pay my bills and to put gas in my car.

Hello, Claude! It’s so nice to meet you.

This morning it was time to clean out the cooking things cabinet.Brad buys a lot of flavorings and rubs for his meat. (Let’s keep it clean, people)Then he uses it once and if he doesn’t like it, there it sits.Then there are all of the hard candies he buys.And the microwave popcorn.

And, on my part, things I used to use for baking – which I have not done in forever. I kept the baking soda to use for getting the coffee stains out of his Yeti.

So, it’s all gone. I emptied each container and filled almost three grocery bags with containers for the recycle bin.

Then there’s the weird jellies, jams and butters he buys. I do keep those to a minimum.

He should join a group – SBA-spice buyers anonymous.

While in SD in Nov, we went to Bates Nut Farm. He got a sack of different flavored taffy. (I did too but ate all of mine.) His bag is still in the cabinet.If he doesn’t start eating some of it, I will and won’t feel bad.

Claude looks like a nice kitty. I hope he does find someone. Hopefully, someone just as nice as him. On another note, saw two juncos, a varied thrush, and a sparrow while out walking today.
