The oil-filled radiator-style space heater was Barney’s Favorite Household Appliance. Two years ago, I ran it pretty much continuously for the duration of the winter.
That (at 1500 watts) got prohibitively expensive, though, so I substituted a “Cozy Spot” (marketed as a hand warmer – IIRC, 30 watts) – that also worked for him. I got a second one so Bean could have one as well.
