Reminds me of the first winter with my girls. I was holding Gracie, she wasn’t quite 6 months old, and I stepped out onto my back porch as it was snowing. a huge snowflake landed right on her head. She shivered, and has never wanted anything to do with outside since. I’m proud to say that since I brought her and Sara home, at 4 weeks old, to this day, they have never felt the ground beneath their paws and they have no desire to do so. Inside=Alive!

You can’t go wrong with naps.

Any warm laundry is good warm laundry.

My late, lamented Random Numbers once jumped into Mom & Dad’s dryer as Dad was pulling fresh laundry out. Raccoondom (he opened drawers and such) loved warm places.

Since we got a new dryer, our cats have no interest in parking themselves on top while it runs on cold days. It must be better insulated than the creaky old Kenmore that came with the house.

Perhaps Fiona can come over to visit and do ear detailing.

Mitty, request Mom put the towel in the dryer for about 5 minutes. Nice and warm on a cold day

My two are indoor/outdoor; right now, they are chasing snowflakes and coming in to complain bitterly when they catch them.

My cat Johnny Depp loved being dried off with a towel. He learned to enjoy being out in the rain when we lived for a while in the redwoods. He loved it so much that sometimes he would go back out a few minutes later just so he could get toweled off again. :)
