Fly (evil) Squirrels, Fly!

Bats are more evil, to my mind. Much more scary!

I might be with Mittens on this. One of the less-pleasant experiences I’ve had since moving into my new house has been when Rocky the Flying Squirrel decided to make a nest inside the wall, right by the head of my bed. The irony is that Rocky scritched so loudly in there that he could be heard all over the house; he didn’t need to be right by my bed.

Had to call a pest guy, who made a fancy exit-thing to put over the attic vents so Rocky could get OUT but not back IN. Then for a week I got to listen to Rocky outside scritching to try to get inside. Fortunately, Rocky eventually gave up and made a nest elsewhere.

That cost me SO Many nights of sleep.

As long as they stay outside of the house it will be ok

We have bats. There are a lot of cave out in the boonies but there must be one or two not far from the house. At a certain time of the year, right at dusk, they start flying, looking for food/bugs. We go out and watch them fly around the house. The first year we were here, we put up a bat house hoping some would nest but none ever did.

No last words for the filthy hound or your friends? To whom are you going to leave your fancy chariot and fancy fountain?

I love bats. Wonderful creatures.

Bats look like mice that are into leather.

They do eat lots of bugs.
