Molly at ten years old, practicing how to feed a baby. Five years later she was very disappointed.

I remember a doll back in the sixties called “Baby’s Hungry” which apparently came with “baby food” it would eat, or pretend to. The commercial on TV was loud. frequent and annoying, so my brothers and I started calling it “Baby Shut Your Mouth.” I remember going into a store around Christmas with my mom and yelling, “Look! It’s Baby Shut Your Mouth!” She almost killed me…

Squeeze her tummy and a cloud of cinnamon comes out of her mouth and nose while she makes coughing and gagging noises.

Entitled “Die Puppenmutter.” Auctioned by Dorotheum back in 2017. I don’t know if it sold. The estimate was around $6,000.

Upset that Santa didn’t get her the chemistry set she asked for, she decided to fill the baby with baking soda, followed by a vinegar enema.
