For those who follow my comments: as was the case Monday, sparse information is available (to me anyway) about this painting. I have no confirmation concerning its title, location, medium, or dimensions, and even its date (most say 1886, but one said 1910) is in question (to me anyway). Unlike Monday, when I had someone to ask, I have no one (given the current state of affairs between the US and Iran).
Since I had someone to contact concerning Monday’s painting, I have updated its title and medium, as well as adding its current location, dimensions, and accession number in that comment’s first URL:
After leaving Chicago, the Blues Brothers had a lot of different incarnations, eventually, ending up as the Tehran Trio ( Shown here, playing at a bar mitzvah for the Ayatollah’s nephew ).
