This is Scarlett – our new Au Pair/ she does some strange things to her hair/ she strolls ’round the house/ without bra, without blouse/ but nobody seems to care.
There once was a girl named Kat. Had three boys named Nat, Pat. and Tat. It was fun in the breeding, but hell in the feeding, when she found there was no Tit for Tat!
This is why you should never bathe a child in the drapery wash water. Mom should have taken a clue from Leigh Anne Touhy of The Blind Side (2009); “But I will not wear that gaudy orange, I will not. It is not my colour [sic] wheel and I’m not gonna wear it.”
Interesting tidbit: the artist painted it in 1910. That same year, somebody else gifted it to the American Smithsonian. I suspect that person was the original buyer. So essentially, it’s never been on the open market.
Final tidbit: this painting is based on a detail from a mural he did in a New Jersey courthouse. Here’s an old photograph that shows the mural at the courthouse in which you can see the figural group used for this painting.

As a child, Bacchus liked grapes and other fruit. But that was before he learned about fermentation.
