My buddy had a paper route. He asked me to join him collecting at a certain house. I thought nothing of it and tagged along. Two 13 year olds on bikes in the evening headed out in the neighborhood circa 1950. Knocked on the door and I swear that lady dressed like that in the painting paid him for the news papers.

He just laughed and said she was his favorite customer….

“See anything you like?”

But this seems to be a “PC” replacement for today’s planned cartoon.

When I was between 8 and 12, I saw a lot of afternoon nudity when I sold newspapers door to door some afternoons at motels. No females though, just angry men. Hey, if your car is out front, I’m knocking! I did sell quite a few that way so I kept it up.

As a young bill collector, the closest I ever came to that was an attractive women who hadn’t changed out of her bikini upon returning from the apartment pool. When I told that to the boss, he took over handling that account. Oddly, I don’t believe she was ever again overdue on her account now that I think about it.
