He totally would have though, my brother told me for all his talk against the US he loved westernss and had a whole theater to himself to watch them. So singing country at karaoke is not a far stretch.

One unsung hero from back then: Polina Zhemchuzhina. She was the wife of Vyacheslav Molotov, Stalin’s Foreign Minister, and probably ony real friend (they roomed together for many years (after the revolution, many large apartments were taken from the nobles and subdivided to make housing for the poor. During the Lenin era, many communist party leaders did the same, to show solidarity with the people).

Stalin wasn’t stallin’
When he told the beast of Berlin
That they’d never rest contented
Till they had driven him from the land
So he called the yanks and English
And proceeded to extinguish
The fuhrer and its vermin
This is how it all began
.

Fellow Comrades, First we must potato salad. Then we must follow up with a gallon of milk. And next we must get two packs of hot dogs.
Wait a sec. This isn’t my speech, it’s my wife’s shopping list.
