That reminds me of a story I heard about 15 years ago. A local cable access channel in Alabama became operational before they were ready to produce any programming, so for several weeks, they left a camera in front of the tropical fish tank in the studios. After they started producing shows, people started calling to complain that they wanted the fish tank back.
On our cable we now have several unusual channels: the fireplace channel, cottage scenery, sunsets and an aquarium. I can understand putting them on to help calm yourself down or to bore you to sleep.
