I sleep with a night light too… so I don’t bump into the bed or any other furniture upon return from the bathroom or the kitchen (the latter for either a glass of water or milk).

My big sister had to have a nightlight so as a toddler, I had nightmares from the shadows. Lions on the wall.

I don’t have nightlights anymore. I have a dozen smart devices charging.

Blue canary in the outlet by the lightswitch, who watches over you?

I don’t have nightlights or turn on any at night. They wake me up too much to go back to sleep. Gotten really good at navigating nearly blind. No small kids or pets to worry about.

Every kid knows that monsters HATE night lights.
