And that doesn’t account for ratings creep. Jurassic Park was rated PG-13, JP 2 was also rated PG-13 but would’ve been rated R if it had been released a year sooner. Content that’s rated PG today would have been rated PG-13 5 years ago. In fact the Terminator was rated R when it was released, now its unedited DVDs are rated PG-13.
