Doctor: Brutus, I want you to start a regimen of walking two miles a day, five times a week.
Brutus: Five times a week! Isn't there an alternative?
Doctor: Walk ten miles a day, once a week!
As the doctor said to his patient: “If you can’t spare thirty minutes a day for exercise, how are you going to spare twenty four hours a day being dead?”
My subdivision has small lakes with walking/hiking/biking trails. Lots of ducks and herons and other critters that keep my walks interesting. I try to get in between 20 and 25 miles a week. That distance is not hard to do – you just need the time to do it.
