I give uncle Ted 30 minutes to either take a nap or in need of the restroom. If he falls asleep, problem solved, and if he gets up to use the restroom, grab the remote while he’s at it, and again, problem solved. Or, get up now and grab some dessert and the remote at the same time. (If it was me, I would go in the kitchen to get the remote and dessert, and forget the remote again!)
I wonder where they keep the memory drives for ALL the stuff stored on YouTube? Or the entire internet for that matter. I envision a massive computer set-up deep in a cave in a mountain somewhere.
I am old enough that I remember tv remotes that were actually tethered to the tv or vcr with a wire. It seems old fashioned now, but the upside was you never lost your remote.

Are you saying you may do something else in the kitchen?

A couple of my favorites are Diners Drivins & Dives and the Kitchen. I wish I could eat some of what I see on D. D. & D.

When you’re younger and don’t want to expend the energy to get the remote, you’re called lazy.

There is a solution for TV addiction : Radio . We have some good channels here in Italy while 90% of TV is rubbish .

Considering whats on the other channels is just as bad; it’s not worth the effort.

I hate TV; I’d rather listen to music, read, or both!

That’s OK. A few minutes of watching a cooking show will make him hungry enough to go to the kitchen.

Yeah, is it really worth changing the channel just to watch Murray?
cuzinron47 about 4 years ago
He has a remote chance of changing the channel.
