I know it could be an handicap but I never understood how golf and baseball works. Not being American I can say that I don’t care.

Bob Hope (I think) said that he only plyed golf because he had so many sweaters.

A hole-in-one is a hole-in-one, even if it’s on the practice green!! Now go and claim your Green Jacket, Brutus!!

I’ve never ever had a hole-in-one. But I don’t think it’s worth taking up golf to get one.

I do have a question for golfers. If you play the course in reverse, i.e. 18 – 1 (of course the 19th hole would be first not last), would the game be called Flog?

I feel the same as mentioned above… If you get a hole in one, especially on your first swing of the season, time to go straight to the 19th hole and celebrate.

Hole in one you owe a round of drinks to all in the clubhouse. Hole in one on the practice green you owe your co-worker a water in a paper cone cup at the cooler. Brutus came out ahead on that one.

Your handicap is believing you can play this “game”.

Here’s a golf thing I’ve been wondering about… if the ball goes in the hole and then pops out, shouldn’t that count as putting it in the hole?

If you are the Born Loser you have to measure success by a different standard.

Hole in One: That shot you hit only when playing by yourself on an empty golf course.

I had dropping that long first putt on the putting green; it’s all downhill from there.
