Many a talk with the boss is a one-sided conversation.

I’ll bet that those bags with dollar signs on them are filled with sand. They are there just to make employees feel small when they come in for a chat with the Boss.

yeah, that sounds about right…

I remember one of my first bosses. He’d tell me, let’s fix this thing. What he really meant was I was to fix this thing, and he would check on me, later. I still remember that, like it was yesterday.
