Gladys—be nicer about Brutus, please.

You should give Brutus kudos for his wisdom. After all burning the candle on both ends just doesn’t work that well.

Did Brutus actually just do something right!

The middle is where he should burn the candle.

Smoldering the candle at both ends.

The candle lasts longer that way.

Brutus works hard. Show him some respect.

He looks like he put the candle out.

She was saying something about him while he was sleeping, and heading to another room while doing so. All things considered, it could have been worse. Who of us has not burned a candle at one end from time to time. For me it was during our most recent power outage.

at least he’s not doing it at three ends. top, bottom and middle.

if he’s burning the candle at one end at least he’s doing one thing right…

Brutus is a battery powered candle and he is recharging his batteries.

I don’t burn a candle – I snore 30,000 watt generator full load when I nap. Zonk!

Leave him alone, he’s busy sawing logs. Poor Brutus, can’t catch a break even when he’s unconscious.

Brutus is in for the long haul.. pacing himself as it were.

Just don’t light a match at the other end, depending on what he had for dinner last night. It could be quite, um, pyrotechnic?

And it happens to be the end that produces that paycheck you’re happy he gets…

Sleep tight Brutus. Enjoy your nap. You deserve it……

Gladys, that’s the smart way and you don’t get wax on your self.

Give him a break Gladys, working day to day in the tea cozy business really takes it out of man.

Don’t bother him, he’s in safe mode. He can do the least damage that way.

Brutus has Never been lit, or in the case of his candle lighted.

My laid-back husband is like that, and I support it. Maybe I’ll have him around a lot longer than I would, had he burned his candle at both ends.
