we decided to go with a live tree (the kind in a pot, with roots) one year and planted it in the yard the following spring. by the time we moved away it was around 3 or 4 meters tall…
I always liked decorating the real trees outside and the fake trees inside. My outside is my outside and my inside is not a showroom or a store window.
Time for Brutus to get a can of Faux Pine Scent to go with his Faux Tree. Or he could decorate his tree with those little pine tree shaped air fresheners that hang from the mirrors of cars.
Fake – That does not sound like Brutus. Christmas has been turned into a fake season of money spending and not worship of our Lord. Would think Old soul Brutus would want the real deal for Wilburforce and family. Unless it’s Glady’s lazy way?
My dad worked in a plastics plant for a few years and I visited there a couple times. The smell wasn’t the worst part for me, it was the plastic beads all over the floor that made it slippery as ice!
A can of pine scent is a whole lot cheaper than that tree was. You can smile all the way to the bank. Which might also pay for some of those Christmas gifts…..
We always had fresh trees. Then the kids grew up and moved out. Now we got a “Faux” tree and it’s the best thing ever! No smell but it looks great and I don’t have to worry about the water drying up!

It’s the real thing, that’s the way it should be, what the world wants to see, can’t beat the real thing

I can’t say that my artificial tree smells like anything. I have scented pine cones for that.

Have you seen the prices for live trees? My neighbors son paid $107.00 and they paid $80.00.

If your tree makes your house smell like a pine forest, it’s a pine tree, not a Fraser Fir.

I have a pine-scented artificial tree. The trick was putting a rear-view mirror in my living room to hang it from. :)

Grand firs are a lot nicer than Fraser trees, less gaps and orange scented
