Sleeping in a separate room is what worked for me.

Until my wife got a CPAP machine, I wore them every night. It was that or sleep in separate rooms; which I thought wouldn’t be a good thing for our relationship. It must’ve worked; we’ve been together for almost 40 years.

My father was a loud snorer. To give you an idea of how loud he was one night my brother cried out “Mommy, mommy, there’s a lion in the house!” to which my mother replied “Go back to sleep. That’s just your father snoring.”

CPAP machines can literally save people’s lives. Since my husband got his, he sleeps better at night, and doesn’t snore any more.

had a reunion with an old buddy who i hadn’t seen in years and after he kept me awake all night with his incredible buzz saw snoring from the other side of the shoji partition i resolved to make reservations for completely separate rooms the next time, no matter the cost…
