The only way I can know if I’m dragging is when I need to start a second pot.

I’ve given up on coffee. Now I use one family size decaf tea bag for a 2 1/2 cup mug of brew. Add two pink packs of sweetener and some lemonade mix, and yum’s the word.

How about getting fired for sleeping on the job? Will that effect your sleep tonight? Make up your mind but either way, get out the door. Gladys has got to get back to bed.

Brutus must be extremely caffeine sensitive if a 2nd cup of coffee would interfere with his sleep at night.

Caffeine levels usually peak 30-45 minutes after ingestion. It is metabolized by the liver and has a half-life of about 5 hours, so Brutus should be okay by evening. There are those who are extremely sensitive to caffeine and the stimulant effects can last 18 hours or better depending on the person and how much was consumed.

Brutus seems to know his limit is one cup, so he will probably have the second.

If you can’t force a horse to drink water, you can’t force Brutus to have that Second Cup. However, it was a good suggestion and a loving gesture on her part….

More likely all that sleep you do at work is gonna effect your sleep at night.

Do the coffee then add some wine to your nighttime regimen. You’ll sleep like a baby.

The coffee might disrupt your sleep at night, Brutus—if it’s espresso.

A gallon of coffee will make Brutus do the “potty dance”. Seriously too much caffeine can also make a person go haywire.
