I think every time a “study” comes out it should be mandatory that all who funded it should be stated. How many things that studies say are good for you were funded by the people that produce that item?
The longer I live, the more I see that Woody Allen’s movie Sleeper was a window into the future. All the foods that were “good” and “bad” for you when, Allen’s character went to sleep, swapped places in the future he woke up to.
Next up, A.I. created foods, no fat, no sugar, non of that dreaded gluten, no calories, no nothing! Isn’t very filling though, but A.I. is working it out.
And soon they will have a pill version of that super food that will prolong your life, make you healthy, give you energy, will cost you as much as you spend monthly on groceries AND they will have a stupid ad campaign with bad actors that will be every other commercial on your tv for the foreseeable future. Somewhere, P.T. Barnum is smiling. Though l doubt that Brutus would partake. Not so sure about Gladys though,…..

And the foods that the experts were saying last week we should eat every day, this week other experts are saying we should never eat.

Super foods? I’ve heard an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but, really? People these days are raging about apples?
For me I’ll stick with the whopper of a cheeseburger. Make that a double.

Poor Brutus, trying to keep up with the latest culinary advancements. Those super duper foods are probably 100% manmade with no natural ingredients.

“You know the superfoods that have been all the rage?”
No, fill me in. Conversations with my friends don’t usually involve food.

And Gladys goes on, “and they are all ‘organic’”…
cuzinron47 about 1 year ago
Since they consider plant based food super, I’ll stick with villain foods.

I’m guessing the foods Gladys is talking about in the last panel come from a super duper market.

And now they are mineral-based!
