I received three letters when I tried out for the team. “C” “U” “T”

Hurricane Hattie the Harridan strikes again. Poor Brutus can’t even reminisce without someone insulting him.

I’ll bet that like a certain other character, Brutus was never able to kick a football, and the team found him utterly worthless to have as a player.

really, just A letter? or was there a sentence in it as well or was it really just one letter. :D

He was either “bench warmer” or “water boy”. Not that those aren’t important positions. lol

I have no doubt that he played sports in high school. He’s that kind of guy and it’s one of the many reasons that he attracted his wife to be. Hattie of course, not knowing what Lettering implies, had her typical response, showing her ignorance. Brutus, as always, will let that remark go by as water goes off a duck’s back ….

In Junior High, I tried out for the Basketball Team, and made it through the first cut, but not the second. I never tried out again for any Sports Team, so, no Athletic Letter, but I did get Letters for every year in Band! ☺

Explain it to her, Brutus! She will get completely confused and go home. Goal achieved!

I don’t know why Brutus just doesn’t make his house off limits to Hattie.

Can you imagine if Wilberforce and Hattie marry poor Brutus will have her and Gargoyle both in the family. And in all likelihood all of them living under his roof!

Then Harriet goes on, “what did the guys on the team that played get?"…
