I don’t chase my dreams. If anything, they chase me.

Any good reason will do.

Chasing dreams makes him sleepy.

I love that definition for a nap. Makes perfect sense to me.

And it makes me want to start my next nap, er, chase.

Odd, Veeblefester said the same thing at work.

Can’t run like I used to so I quit chasing them. Bad knees.

Never miss the opportunity to take a nap

I’d like to have the kind of dreams that I had when I was a teenager.

Wilberforce, your dad takes naps because he’s tired of the tea cosy rat race.I chased my dreams, caught a few, married one of them.

perhaps… that would be my guess anyways. it could also be because his dreams are so far away he gets too tired during the day to catch up so he rest a bit before he dreams on chasing them again. ;)

Dreams are about the only thing that Brutus will ever catch.

That’s kind of sad. Always chasing means never attaining.

Gotcha he did and a chuckle is in order. Still good advice by Dad and Granddad though…..

Brutus can just say, “Yes.” Then take another nap to create some new dreams to chase.

Interesting advice coming from Brutus who should have prefaced that by saying “do as I say and not as I did.” Whatever dreams he had came crashing down when he entered the Veeblefester soul-sucking vortex. Now his naps are to dissociate from reality.

Can’t believe he still does that, too often the turn into nightmares.

You may think i’m sleeping, but in reality I’m working on world peace. Just works better with my eyes closed.
