Good morning night owls.-——-Yep, folks it’s the end. Time to hit the rewind button and start at the beginning.-——Have an awesome day my friends.

And with that I’m out. This was a very strange run, and not in a good way. I want to go on a huge rant about this, but I feel my first “review” of this still stands, but now without the fun bits, or the potential. I was lost so often in this and I could not care less about the characters or the scenarios that they where in. Just flat bland and confusing. This comic promised something good, but I ended up with something that failed so hard. I’ve had enough, thanks for the fun commenters, I’m gone.

I have to agree with Miny Boy here: the second “chapter” seems rushed and inconsequential. This comic was promising at the beginning but it lost itself on the way. Pity, though I will let a door open to evaluate next chapters (if any)

Disagree with Miny Boy. I loved this strip and found it funny and inventive with highly expressive art. I urge its creators to please bring it back if they can afford to do so.

I agree. I thought the second story was just getting started, and I find out today that it’s over. I think I’ll go ahead and remove this comic from my queue like I considered doing a long time ago.

I’m still enjoying it. I must admit, I think its far better to remove a strip from a queue than to tire/discourage artists and other readers with daily negativity.

Let not the negativity been this final standing.I for one enjoyed the ride, the mutton chops, the oddness of the entire strip. Many times I sat going “WHaaaT?” but I enjoy the ride like a cat loves a paper bag or that moment when it does something stupid and realizes it only too late to avoid becoming a cat video.I am certain the strip will return. It says so under the banner.I mean we have to know.Does Boone finally go robot….once you go robot you cant go back….Will Lou finally find that final bit of info to turn her into a real girl…….stupid fairy god mother.Will the baby grow and seek revenge on Boone for leaving her behind to be cared for, loved, and raised to a fine woman by La Madre?Will Mathias figure out how to do it with a two sided wife?Will Spinner ever get that grudge match with the Rock?Will someone explain why they are standing about in open country with those grove marks in the ground?What is Lou looking for…….Smoke signals, Indians, Cleveland finally wins a championship in anything, Romo retires, Favre returns for one last run at a Super Bowl while wearing Copper Fit? Will Dallas ever pick a non criminal to be a player?We gotta know these things….so I remain even if the last one.Now get to work Paige quit staring at that blank sheet of paper, and Jason that typing ain’t gonna do itself. I have money just waiting for book three. I mean come on, I even sent Styx music your way……you know how much that had to hurt.Laughing at my keyboard I sign off for today.Really Don’t let it End.

Well as for myself I found the linear cohesion and the occasional lack of continuity in the story line interesting at best, and to be honest I found the comments at times more entertaining than the strip its self. But I see no reason to drop it. In life nothing goes as planned as it seems to do the same in this strip whether by design or by mistake.

Okay I’ll wait for the next. I guess it all was resolved….sorta.

@Miny Boy and davidf42: It makes more sense if you read the two books. It is easier to keep track of the characters. Be well my friends

@Veteran: Careful, my friend. You will blow a gasket. -——I have an idea for a sequel. Boone gets sent to Europa to be the marshal at the new colony. Lou goes with him to keep him out of trouble (and away from one night stands). Meanwhile, Senora and baby, start a baby sitting/day care business. Topsy turvy gal leaves Mathias (Alcade) for a topsy turvy guy. Spinner opens the first Mars Mart. Etc.-——Veteran and 2 old: You now have a plot. Start writing the next big adventure. I will buy 10 copies.-——Be well my friends.

Enjoyed this strip, looking forward to more. Agree with Sheepdawg81 regarding those leaving this site, & would add, you won’t be missed.

if you guys wanted a cohesive novel, why are you reading the comics??? Just sayin’…….

It was boring.

This is my favorite strip. I just ordered the second book not realizing this was the end . But it’s all good. When it comes I will read it all in one sitting. All I can say to those who didn’t enjoy it is, don’t read it. Read something you like instead of reading this and then complaining about it. Do you have any idea of how hard it is to write and draw ANY kind of comic strip. I thoroughly enjoyed all their stories, art work and editing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this strip while it lasted. Really hope to see more!

Confused? You won’t be after the next episode of “The Martian Confederacy”!

In the very unlikely event that it ever returns, I wonder how many of us will recall which character was who. Or care. I can’t really remember anyone except Boone, the Alcalde, and the robot woman – and I can no longer recall her name or sustain enough interest to go back and check. .More and more this reminds me of Tales of Terra Topia, which kept a (gorgeously drawn) panel promising a return for over two years before vanishing from GoComics without a word.

Been 14 months. This strip is now officially dead as a door nail.

I just finished reading all of these. I wish there were more of them. I also wish there were more of the Dragon Girl comics. I guess you are both gone for good. What a shame.

I hope they have Easter on Mars and maybe some Martian bunnies will leave some Easter eggs.
