I don’t buy the one continent theory. The current ones may have been one land mass, but that would shift the centre of gravity. Major portions would sink, & other continents would rise on the other side.

If you had a globe, 1 meter in diameter, a single coat of paint would be nearly as thick as the crust.
Those little surface irregularities are practically meaningless.
