    He might get the last laugh, during their lifetimes, but after that, when it breaks down, who’ll honor his guarantee?

    @Nebulous, I know personally of a macCaw who was over 100 when I left IL in 1998 and was left by her deceased owner to my avian vet. My unfortunate Umbrella Cockatoo died young because avian vets here in AZ did not know of medicines to discourage egg laying; she was not yet 25 and had lived with me for most of that time. She was very sweet and loved people – flirted with young men especially and loved events where there were celebrations with applause.
