Okay – my first laugh out loud moment this morning.I love Mark Twain and I’m glad there are Mark Twain appreciators here.

They just fear that Huck’s not PC enough for them. Huck keeps calling Col. Fury.. N-word Fury.

He’d rather not be raised by the Black Widow Douglas.

If you have to asterisk out the word you want to say maybe you shouldn’t say it. Especially if its simply to try and shield your racism.

Actually, I think this is how Hulk got his name—that’s how I interpret it anyway.

These were words in common usage in that area(and many others) of our country. To change words that have changed over the years to be more PC ruins the manuscript and the sarcasm that goes with it.
