Because they know it will get a rise out of you.
the idea of putting him on the mound was really half baked…
D’oh!
:‘( Poppin Fresh was the prename of restaurant, Baker Square, which went out of business :’(
Looks like he lost a little weight!
I don’t know who pitched this idea…
but I think Poppin’ Fresh has self a-steam issues.
Maybe he’s been a little dim, sum days.
With all the dough he makes, he should at yeast know he’s not a batter.
and that the crowd is yelling about that stick in the other player’s hand.
Not him, because he’s a solid player, one who’s kneaded.
A roll model, not a batter.
The batters he’s thinking of are very soft, and can’t be kneaded … nothing to do with their playing position…
They pour themselves into the game, with all they have…
Some are sweet, and they usually rise to the occasion…
but they’re not stand-up guys, on their own, like Poppin’ Fresh.
Wow, little Susan sunshine just unloaded a whole Year’s worth !
If the baseball team wins, they poke the pitcher to make him laugh.
One time he got caught in a hot box between 2nd and 3rd; he knew he was cooked.
Meet John Doughboy.
At yeast some type of baseball is being played.
Half baked.
Probably because you’re out of uniform!
What do you see when the Pilsbury Doughboy bends over? His dough-nuts!!
His career didn’t last long. The other teams quickly figured out that the only pitch he had was a rising fastball.
I’d really be curious to see how he handles a hard line-drive up the middle that he’s not prepared for …..
If he’s still pitching, he must be on a roll.
Now if he only had some poppy seeds.
Now if he’d just mix up his pitches, or maybe added a little somethin’ to them.
Hope they pay him lots of dough.
The heckling toque him down a notch.
“Pitcher’s got a doughy arm.”
How is dough the same as batter?
This is how they’d heckle Betty Crocker back in the day.
Nothing fancy, he’s their bread-&-butter player. No matter the team’s fortunes, he just rolls with it. Surprisingly, he not only pitches, but he’s one of their better butters. He bases his success on always rising to the occasion.
They’re being fresh with him.
Just after this game he was suspended for using baking soda.
I doughn’t know the answer to his question… :p
