Assuming the charger is still working, and hasn’t been vandalized!!!

What was wrong with the Energon? Also, Megatron is a gun. Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker are the planes.

Ah, cheap EV bashing. I’ve got the impression that despite the fact that American company Tesla opened up EVs for the larger public, that the Americans still have no clue how EVs work.

I can refuel my gas-powered car from near-empty to a full tank in five minutes, giving me a range of 400 miles. How long does it take to fully charge an EV from a near-depleted state? I bet it’s not five minutes.

The majority of Americans also regret going electric, according to sales of these cars and trucks.

I can’t find an EV that allows me to drive 300+ miles in a day while pulling a box trailer loaded with a hefty load of gear and materials and doesn’t put me in debt.

They don’t work for most Americans. They don’t go far enough they take way too long to recharge and there’s no repair or parts stock for them when they break. Look at the resale value most of them are down to half of what the owners paid for them when they were new. Sales are way down also. Only the rich can afford to waste the money on a limited useful product like an EV.

In America, we will need to find a new way to fund the highway system since a large portion is currently paid for by the gas tax. EV user are currently not paying that specific tax.

Is it just me, or does that charging cable and coupler look a lot more like a gas hose and nozzle?

An electric car would make sense to be if I invested in a Solar powered house. I’m now living on pension and do not want to incur debt at my age. I will hang on to my fossil fuel car, keeping up on maintenance until I’m no longer able to drive.

I’m award of how they work. And, I’ve read a lot of EV vs gas articles. A friend in San Diego has one (her second) and we’ve talked about it a lot. For just me and Brad, I don’t see the draw. If we found a pickup truck that met our needs, maybe. But I don’t see that happening in the near future. We’re 73 and 64 so it would have to be something he was happy with, considering he’s the younger one.

What about this guy he’s “going to get” is he gassy. I always thought these things just sort of worked. Didn’t know they had gas.

When I can go 300 miles on a 7 minute charge year round, the battery lasts 200,000 miles, and I can buy one for the same price as a gas powered car, then I’ll think about it.
